day #14- bday :)

finally turned 24

now it's time some for some fun after some 10 days of studying

My course had a 48 hour take home final exam due today

preceeding the exam we had a 10 day revision period with no classes and I, for the first time ever, spent almost all of those days (that is excluding a saturday and sunday) studying in the main reading hall at the library.

And turns out it payed off.. in the spirit of a true champion a 48 hours exam was finished in 29 hours allowing me to spend my birthday today completely stress free :)

I'll definitely strive to keep this work ethic going after this month is over

Anyways, here are some pictures from the past week

this building is on the corner of my street.. makes me smile every time I pass by it

my pigeon friend who had no issue with modelling for me the other day

last weekend I went to the Gothenburg Art Museum to see a joint exhibition of Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera's work

very, very lovely

(this weekend the plan is to visit another one of Gothenburg's oh so many museums)

after the museum I sat next to that ridiculously good looking cake for over 30 min without having a bite, just sticking to my tea, happy about not caving in

that café did though have some awesome looking espresso cups, I feel like I need one even though I don't really drink coffee.

So far this month has not always been easy.. there have definitely been some up and downs.

But the ups outweigh the downs by far.

I don't think I've ever eaten this many fruits and vegetables in my life and despite getting up at a ridiculous hour in the morning I'm not collapsing from tiredness around dinnertime like I expected me to be.

I've also discovered that I, unlike I ever imagined, actually prefer to go to the gym early in the morning rather than in the afternoon.
Working out, taking a rather cold shower and then jumping right into the sauna (I love you Sweden!!) all before eight o'clock is actually an awesome way to wake up
